A powerful and cohesive marketing plan utilizing a strong strategy with the right tactics has the ability to drive rapid business growth; however, a number of factors will dictate exactly how long it takes to realize results. Overnight? No. In a matter of weeks or months? Yes, absolutely.

It all depends on your business, brand, product, service, and objective. Various channels, platforms, and outlets excel in reaching certain audiences… the key is meeting your customers where they are in the most effective, efficient, and scalable manner possible.

Maybe, but probably not. Your choice of social networks should align with your target audience, goals, and resources. Social networks should be targeted, effective, and efficient leading to better engagement and ROI. Not all social channels will do this equally.

Aside from being better, faster, cheaper, I.E. offering more for less – be different. Conduct deep market research to thoroughly understand the market, industry, competitors, and most importantly customers.

Capitalize on gaps with a unique value proposition. Foster innovation and creativity while maintaining a customer-centric approach.

Work hard and absorb like a sponge. There are SO many great books and resources available to learn… utilize them and find ways to apply concepts into your own company in a way that connects your career trajectory while adding value to the organization.

Find mentors and don’t be afraid to take calculated risks. Work for brave leaders and be realistic about how long it will take to climb the ladder.

Simply put, no. Not every campaign is a huge success in traditional terms. Every campaign should serve a specific purpose and equate to either winning, learning, or both. 

Every campaign should have a specific objective tied to key performance indicators (KPIs) along with a hypothesis of potential outcomes and next steps. By design, strategic test and learn marketing will lead to the most effective, efficient, and scalable channels.
